Volunteer opportunities for PrideFest
Volunteer for PrideFest
Each year volunteers help to make Denver PrideFest one of the best in the country.
By donating their time, volunteers are providing thousands of dollars of in-kind support to the GLBT Community Center of Colorado.
The money saved is directly invested in programs for your community!
More than a free t-shirt! More than a free meal! It's a donation to your GLBT Community Center!
Can you spot the PrideFest Volunteers in the picture above? (Hint: They're the sexy ones!)
Meet the people behind PrideFest: Andie Lyons, Program Manager at Rainbow Alley/Youth Alley Representative

How long have you worked with PrideFest?
This is my first PrideFest wherein I have an “official” capacity.
What exactly do you do with PrideFest?
Work as a liaison between the Youth HIV/AIDS Coalition (YHAC) who sponsor Youth Alley and The Center to help create a youth only safe space at Pride.
How did you come to be involved with PrideFest?
It’s a (wonderful!) part of my job description!
What is your favorite part of PrideFest?
I love being surrounded by LGBTQ folks of all stripes and varieties!
What is your most memorable PrideFest moment?
Laying in the sun in Civic Center digesting carnie food and checking people out.
Why is an event like PrideFest important to the GLBT community?
Pride allows us an opportunity to celebrate our communities successes and remind each other that we’re not alone.
