"I think my favorite thing about PrideFest is just the spirit of community that seems to happen along the sides of the streets. Not necessarily what goes on in the parade. It's very strange to me how everybody just seems to come together on the curbside and I think it's a wonderful thing. It's been a part of every PrideFest I've been involved in and I hope that we never, ever lose that." - Jerry Wheeler, staff writer for Out Front Colorado

What is your most memorable PrideFest moment?
"I think it would have been during my first year with PrideFest. There was a youth I had known since he was like 11 or 12 years old at Rainbow Alley. He performed on the community stage and so to sit back and get a chance to watch him grow and mature and perform on that stage, well, I was just so proud of him. That was probably my most special memory," Sue Anne Michaels, Community Stage coordinator for PrideFest.

What is your favorite part of PrideFest?

"Ooh, honey, there's so much to choose from. I love the main stage because of the entertainment. I like the diversity and the unity of the crowd. And I definitely like the food, honey. You know I like to grab a bite to eat! " - Miss Tracy Edwards, Denver diva and PrideFest luminary.
