Deborah Gibson speaks OUT about her gay following
In the PrideFest edition of Out Front Colorado, Denver PrideFest 2009 headliner talks about the part the LGBT community plays in her life and career:
I started playing gay clubs when I was 16. The gay community has always been a part of my life, and they have always been loyal. I used to play three clubs a night, four nightsa week while going to high school to get my first record off the ground. ... I would do a teen club, a straight club and a gay club, and I always couldn't wait to get to the gay club.

The Center's Deb Pollock on KGNU
KGNU had The Center's Development and Communications Director Deb Pollock, Out Front Colorado's Matt Kailey and longtime GLBT activist Phil Nash on their Metro show yesterday to talk about the past, present and future of Denver's GLBT community. If you missed it you can read about some of the highlights on MileHighGayGuy where I live blogged the show as it happened.
KGNU will be broadcasting live from PrideFest from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, June 22.

Blast from the Past: Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Colorado
The Gay and Lesbian Community Center, which would later become The Center, was responsible for putting on Denver's first PrideFest.
